I’m Georgia Bloyce, and among many other things, I am a software tester. After completing my degree in mathematics at the University of Warwick, I joined Metaswitch (now a part of Microsoft) as a graduate software engineer. I moved into specialist testing role in late 2016, building my experience by testing on various products and projects until, in 2019, I became the test owner for our product set and the manager of our specialist testing team. After a year as a test manager, I became a test coach; in this role, I support and manage test specialists throughout our organisation and focus on driving strategic improvements to testing practices across our teams.
